Discount prices save big on used automatic transmission, auto parts
Anyone with a Yankee grandmother can probably remember her wise advice: “Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.” That kind of traditional thriftiness is regaining its popularity in today’s uncertain economic times. However, if your car or truck needs a new transmission, it’s not really possible to “do without.” Fortunately thriftiness is still an option with Auto Parts Fair’s wide variety and warehouse prices for a used automatic transmission and other auto parts.
It’s hard to remember sometimes that we’ve had automobiles since the late 1890s. Throughout the past century, professional and amateur mechanics have known that used parts function as well as new parts if they’re properly maintained. Plus, remembering what Grandma used to say, installing a good used automatic transmission and other auto parts in vehicles today isn’t just economical. It’s also environmentally sound, because it saves on dwindling resources for manufacturing and keeps more discarded parts out of junkyards.
The only drawback to equipping vehicles with good used parts is in finding them. That’s where Auto Parts Fair can take the trouble and guesswork out of shopping for a quality used automatic transmission and other auto parts.
Tradition meets innovation with Auto Parts Fair’s online store. The company values customers’ time and money, so it designed an online store that’s both convenient and effective.
Auto Parts Fair’s online store has a step-by-step process that takes buyers easily through the search when they need a used automatic transmission or other auto parts for their vehicles. First, there are handy pictorial guides on the home page, where customers can simply point and click among pictures of recent popular purchases. If the used automatic transmission and other auto parts they’re seeking aren’t among popular purchases, then customers can work through the step-by-step process using convenient drop-down menus.
Especially when it comes to a big-ticket item like a used automatic transmission, it’s good to know that Auto Parts Fair specializes in helping customers find good used auto parts. An entire online catalog section is devoted to helping customers find a used automatic transmission and other auto parts.
If this much convenience and performance seems impossible, take another look at Auto Parts Fair. The online store points out that fhrough its nationwide network of suppliers, Auto Parts Fair has access to some 4 million new and used auto parts available around the country. Combined with the superior organization of its online site, finding the right a used automatic transmission and other auto parts in this vast inventory is practically effortless. Even if the right part isn’t immediately available, Auto Parts Fair can instantly distribute a request for its suppliers to seek out a used automatic transmission or other auto parts that customers need.
Finally, there are two priorities a quality used automatic transmission and other auto parts: price and performance.
Naturally everyone thinks first of price when considering a used automatic transmission for his or her vehicle. As if the value of re-using good quality auto parts wasn’t enough of a benefit, Auto Parts Fair sweetens the deal by offering warehouse pricing on all its inventory. Sometimes the savings is as much as 70 percent below the original manufacturers list price.
Performance is the other priority when choosing a used auto part. Auto Parts Fair assures customers’ satisfaction with a 12-month warranty. Such a guarantee of performance brings enormous peace of mind along with a sense of satisfaction at making an economical, environmentally sound choice in used auto parts.
So our Yankee grandmas were right about being thrifty, even when it comes to a used automatic transmission and other auto parts. Why not take advantage of the thrifty savings with quality parts from Auto Parts Fair?

The Used World $3.95 "It was mid-December in Jonah, Indiana, a place where Fate can be decided by the weather, and a storm was gathering overhead." So Haven Kimmel, bestselling author of" A Girl Named Zippy, " prepares us to enter "The Used World" — a world where big hearts are frequently broken and sometimes repaired; where the newfangled and the old-fashioned battle it out in daily encounters both large and small; where wondrous things unfold just beneath the surface of everyday life; and where the weather is certainly biblical and might just be prophetic. Hazel Hunnicutt’s Used World Emporium is a sprawling antique store that is "the station at the end of the line for objects that sometimes appeared tricked into visiting there." Hazel, the proprietor, is in her sixties, and it’s a toss-up as to whether she’s more attached to her mother or her cats. She’s also increasingly attached to her two employees: Claudia Modjeski — freakishly tall, forty-odd years old — who might finally be undone by the extreme loneliness that’s dogged her all of her life; and Rebekah Shook, pushing thirty, still living in her fervently religious father’s home, and carrying the child of the man who recently broke her heart. The three women struggle — separately and together, through relationships, religion, and work — to find their place in this world. And it turns out that they are bound to each other not only by the past but also by the future, as not one but two babies enter their lives, turning their formerly used world brand-new again. Astonishing for what it reveals about the human capacity for both grace and mischief, "The Used World" forms a loose trilogy with Kimmel’s two previous novels, "The Solace of Leaving Early" and "Something Rising (Light and Swift)." This is a book about all of America by way of a single midwestern town called Jonah, and the actual breathing histories going on as Indiana’s stark landscape is transformed by dying small-town centers and proliferating big-box stores and SUVs. It’s about generations of deception, anguish, and love, and the idiosyncratic ways spirituality plays out in individual lives. By turns wise and hilarious, tender and fierce, heartrending and inspiring, "The Used World" charts the many meanings of the place we call home. |

Lads: A Memoir of Manhood $3.95 @lt;i@gt;@lt;b@gt;"What I wanted after college was a job and my own apartment, but what I needed was a good comeuppance, and that’s what I got."@lt;/b@gt;@lt;br@gt;@lt;/i@gt;@lt;br@gt;When Dave Itzkoff graduated from Princeton in 1998-the first member of his family to earn a college degree-he expected to be rewarded with a career, and a life, that mattered. Instead, he ended up convinced that he was selling the entire institution of manhood down the river. @lt;br@gt;@lt;br@gt;After a series of personal and professional experiences stripped him of any lingering sense of entitlement, Itzkoff found himself working as an editor at Maxim, the pugnacious frontrunner in a new breed of men’s periodicals dubbed "lad magazines." There, he was initiated into a culture of heavily retouched girlie pictorials, dirty jokes, disingenuous sex advice, and shopping guides for expensive electronic gadgetry. And as Maxim continued its inexorable rise to become the most successful men’s magazine in modern publishing history, Itzkoff was left wondering what his work-and his life-really meant.@lt;br@gt;Lads is the hilarious, heartbreaking story of Dave Itzkoff’s efforts to define himself as a man while working at a magazine that was purveying a vision of young manhood-a state of perpetual adolescence-that was seductive to all but viable for none. Lads takes us deep inside one young man’s struggle with identity, responsibility, and sexuality, in an unsparingly candid account of how men really relate to one another, as fathers and sons, as employers and employees, as colleagues and friends.@lt;br@gt;@lt;br@gt;Lads is trenchant. Lads is perceptive. Lads is alarmingly funny. This is an unforgettable debut from a young writer of astounding talent.@lt;br@gt;@lt;b@gt; @lt;br@gt;@lt;/b@gt;@lt;br@gt;@lt;br@gt;@lt;br@gt;@lt;i@gt;From the Hardcover edition.@lt;/i@gt; |

Things Ain’t What They Used to Be $14.25 Were the 70s and 80s all they were cracked up to be? Or have we never had it so good? Philip Glenister–one of our best-loved actors–takes a swig of Babycham, jumps on his space hopper, and heads off down memory lane to find out. Which Bond was better–Roger Moore or Daniel Craig? Was life better when we were served lashings of gravy, instead of a "drizzle of jus"? And–most important of all–have Curly Wurlys really got smaller, or have we all just got bigger? Philip Glenister’s "Things Ain’t What They Used to Be" is a hilarious and affectionate look at the good, the bad, and the ugly from three very different decades, that will have you laughing (and cringing) with recognition. If you’re going on a nostalgia trip, you couldn’t ask for a better guide. |

Robert Ryman: Used Paint $31.62 In this first book-length study of Robert Ryman, Suzanne Hudson traces the artist’s production from his first paintings in the early 1950s, many of which have never been exhibited or reproduced, to his more recent gallery shows. Ryman’s largely white-on-white paintings represent his careful working over of painting’s conventions at their most radically reduced. Through close readings of the work, Hudson casts Ryman as a painter for whom painting was conducted as a continuous personal investigation. Ryman’s method–an act of "learning by doing"–as well as his conception of painting as "used paint" set him apart from second-generation abstract expressionists, minimalists, or conceptualists. Ryman (born in 1930) is a self-taught artist who began to paint in earnest while working as a guard at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in the 1950s. Hudson argues that Ryman’s approach to painting developed from quotidian contact with the story of modern painting as assembled by MoMA director and curator Alfred Barr and rendered widely accessible by director of the education department Victor D’Amico and colleagues. Ryman’s introduction to artistic practice within the (white) walls of MoMA, Hudson contends, was shaped by an institutional ethos of experiential learning. (Others who worked at MoMA during these years include Lucy Lippard, who married Ryman in 1961; Dan Flavin, another guard; and Sol LeWitt, a desk assistant.) Hudson’s chapters–"Primer," "Paint," "Support," "Edge," and "Wall," named after the most basic elements of the artist’s work–eloquently explore Ryman’s ongoing experiment in what makes a painting a painting. Ryman’s work, Hudson argues, tests the medium’s material and conceptual possibilities. It neither signals the end of painting nor guarantees its continued longevity but keeps the prospect of painting an open question, answerable only through the production of new paintings. Without guilt shead move in, take pictures, extract information and blow the tabloids wide open. She had no idea Daniel would be so compassionate and one heck of a good lover How could she back out on the deal, on all that money, the guilt, the lies and deception and convince Daniel she never meant to hurt or betray him? That her love for him was strong and forever, no matter what he said or did to her? Could it ever be the way it used to be? Was a second chance possible? The answer to that lies between these pages. |

Einstein Never Used Flash Cards $6.71 Play Is Back Reassuring to parents and educators, "Einstein Never Used Flash Cards" shows why– and how– to step away from the cult of achievement and toward a more nurturing home life full of imaginative play and love of learning. Here’s the message that stressed-out parents are craving to hear: It’s okay to play In fact, it’s more than just okay– it’s better than drilling academics. After decades of research, scientists and child development experts have come to a clear conclusion: Play is the best way for our children to learn. Children who are prematurely pushed into regimented academic instruction display less creativity and enthusiasm for learning than their peers Children who memorize isolated facts early in life show no better long-term retention than their peers. Children who learn through play also develop social and emotional skills, which are critical for long-term success. Somewhere along the line, we’ve gotten off track by stressing academic products and programs to our preschoolers. Thankfully, Dr. Kathy Hirsh-Pasek and Dr. Roberta Michnick Golinkoff have a simple remedy for our children that is based on overwhelming scientific evidence from their own studies and the collective research results of child development experts. "Einstein Never Used Flash Cards" goes beyond debunking the myths spread by the accelerated-learning industry. Parents and educators will find a practical guide to introducing complex concepts through smart, simple, and loving play. For every key area of a child’s development (speech, reading, math, social skills, self-awareness, and intelligence), you’ll understand how a child’s mind actually learns. Then you’lldiscover exercises (40 in all) that will showcase emerging skills and leave your child smiling today– and prepared for tomorrow. |
